Creating Leaders Since 1875 ~ 140th Anniversary

Dear Phi Phi Brother,

We hope this letter finds you well as we have some exciting news to share with you. On September 27, 1875 the Phi Phi Chapter of the Sigma Chi Fraternity received its charter at the University of Pennsylvania. Phi Phi became the 34th chapter of Sigma Chi and the 5th fraternity at Penn. Over 140 years have passed as generations of Quaker men have continued to seek and find true friendship and create future leaders at our historic Locust Walk home. Nearing the end of October, leaves fall and the air becomes crisp - and the Phi Phi brotherhood looks forward to celebrating another Homecoming tradition, reuniting our lifetime bonds with fellow brothers of these illustrious past generations.

The Chapter is vibrant and energized for the year ahead and hopes to share this excitement by inviting you to join our Homecoming festivities on Saturday November 7th. All brothers are welcome back as we will host a breakfast with cocktails starting at 10 a.m. prior to marching down Locust Walk to cheer on the Penn Quakers as they tame the Princeton Tigers at a noon time kickoff at Franklin Field. Following the game, we invite all members to join us back at the Chapter House for more refreshments and to mingle with both active brothers and fellow alumni. Before the night is over, we plan to make our way over to Smokey Joes to offer a final toast honoring the 140th year milestone for our brotherhood and Phi Phi Chapter.

We look forward to welcoming you home to 3809 Locust Walk for what is sure to be a great weekend!

In Hoc Signo Vinces,

The Brothers of Phi Phi Chapter
